The Visual Comfort Tara Wall Sconce is a decorative wall light from the Tara range, designed by Schumacher for Visual Comfort. The design combines metal construction with candle-style detailing and a fabric empire shade, intended for fixed indoor wall mounting to provide ambient and accent lighting.

Formally the fitting sits on a rectangular backplate with rounded corners and a short horizontal cylindrical arm that supports a candle-style sleeve and bobeche. It is shown here with a grey and white gingham empire (tapered drum) shade trimmed in light grey. The sconce is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel and is offered with multiple fabric shade options, including patterned gingham checks and silk-effect plains.

Constructed from metal with a brushed antique brass finish, the sconce pairs clean, geometric backplate lines with traditional details: a white candle sleeve resting on a circular bobeche plate beneath the shade. The metalwork provides a crisp structural counterpoint to the softer fabric shade.
