STORY

The Visual Comfort Riverside Large Square Lantern Pendant by Chapman & Myers is a statement lantern-style ceiling light from the Riverside collection, finished in polished nickel with clear glass panels. It is designed for interior ambient illumination in kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms.

The fixture uses a tapered square metal frame with an arched upper framework and decorative ball finials for a sculptural, architectural silhouette. It is available in Polished Nickel and presents clear glass panels and cream-coloured candle sleeves that give a considered traditional detail within a contemporary form.

Constructed from metal with clear glass sides, the lantern encloses a cluster of six candelabra fittings supported from a central stem and spherical hub. The pendant is suspended from a circular canopy by a chain and central rod; canopy diameter is 17.2cm and chain length is listed as 6'. The fitting weighs 23.6 kg.

Light is delivered via six E14 candelabra sockets (maximum 60W per lamp), and the open clear glass panels allow unobstructed distribution for ambient use. The product is IP20 and Class I, intended for interior use where protection from moisture is not required. For kitchen islands follow standard clearance guidance and position pendants to allow comfortable sightlines and light spread.
