STORY

The Visual Comfort Pylon Pendant, designed by Sean Lavin, is a single-light ceiling pendant from the Pylon range. Its elongated, architectural form reads as a pared-back pylon — a focused interior downlight that suits contemporary residential or contract ceilings.

The silhouette is exceptionally slim with a subtle taper and a thin, flat circular canopy. It is offered in Nightshade Black and Natural Brass; the Nightshade Black variant presents a uniform matte finish across canopy, suspension cable and housing.

Construction is metal throughout for the housing and ceiling canopy, with a discreet cylindrical strain-relief at the canopy. At the tip a small semi-spherical frosted lens diffuses light to reduce glare and reveal form.

Light is delivered downward from an integrated source at the base, giving precise task or accent illumination. With a CRI of 90 the fitting maintains good colour clarity; the IP20 rating indicates this is specified for indoor use.

The pendant is suspended on a single thin cable with a flush canopy that sits against the ceiling — an uncomplicated detail that aids neat installation. Warranty information: 1 year. Check the technical specification for lamp, driver and dimming details where required.
