STORY

The Visual Comfort Pask Pharmacy Floor Lamp, designed by Thomas O'Brien, is a metal floor lamp that follows the traditional pharmacy-task aesthetic. Its half-cylindrical trough shade and right-angled arm are composed to deliver focused, directional light appropriate for task-focused applications.

The lamp is available in Antique Brass and Bronze finishes, each emphasising a restrained, vintage character. The form is deliberately minimalist: a slender, telescopic vertical stem rises from a low-profile square base to support a horizontal arm and hood, keeping the visual weight small while offering practical reach.

Constructed from metal with a hand-rubbed antique brass appearance on the pictured variant, the finish shows a warm, aged tone with subtle darkening at joints and crevices. The design's clean geometry and considered finish give a quiet, crafted presence without high reflectivity.

The half-cylindrical metal shade concentrates light for task use while a swivelling/tilting attachment at the arm end allows precise direction. An adjustable-height mechanism, indicated by a visible thumb screw on the stem, lets you set working height; the weighted square base provides stability for the lamp's offset geometry.
