STORY

The Visual Comfort Palati Wall Sconce, designed by Ian K. Fowler, is a decorative interior wall light that pairs sculptural form with soft, diffused illumination. Its columnar silhouette and fluted surface reference architectural detail while remaining quietly contemporary.

The sconce uses a semi‑cylindrical, flush‑mounted form with deep vertical fluting to create a rhythmic shadow and light pattern. It is offered in Bronze, Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel finishes, and comes in Small and Large sizes to suit different wall proportions.

Crafted from opal (frosted) glass and metal, the fixture is framed top and bottom by narrow metal bands in a dark finish that securely contain the glass elements. The rounded, pillowed glass segments emphasise texture and a warm creamy shade when lit.

Light emanates from an internal source that glows through the opal glass, producing even, ambient illumination that reduces glare and highlights the vertical fluting. The result is a decorative yet practical wall light for interior spaces where atmosphere and balance are important.

The flat rear profile indicates the fitting is designed for hardwired, flush wall mounting. It carries an IP20 rating for interior use and includes a 1 years warranty. Please consult the technical specification for lamp and dimming details.
