STORY

The Visual Comfort Nodes Decorative Wall Light, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Nodes range, pairs a long, slender metal column with an opal glass globe to form a sculptural wall sconce. The composition is geometric and modern, with a thin horizontal disk positioned beneath the globe to create a distinct bobeche-style detail.

Formally the light combines a sphere, cylinder and circular planes to produce an elongated, asymmetrical silhouette that reads as both decorative and architectural. The pictured finish is brushed brass over metalwork, offering a warm, tactile presence against a wall surface.

Construction uses metal for the stem, mounting plate and disk, with a frosted or opal glass globe that diffuses the lamp to deliver a soft, even glow. The circular backplate sits slightly above the vertical centre of the assembly and supports the extended stem below.

The opal globe reduces glare and creates ambient, wall-focused illumination suitable for corridors, living spaces or flanking mirrors where balanced, warm ambience is required. The fitting is designed for indoor use and has an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry internal zones.

Installation is by hardwired connection to a standard wall junction box via the circular canopy; for bespoke projects there are custom height options available — please contact our sales team. The product is supplied with a 1 year warranty.
