STORY

Visual Comfort Niki Table Lamp is a design-led table lamp by Thomas O'Brien for Visual Comfort. The Niki range interprets a calm, architectural silhouette in a compact table form, intended to provide focused interior lighting and decorative presence.

The lamp reads as a consistent geometric composition: a tall, rectangular column base with a recessed vertical channel echoed by a tapered rectangular linen shade and a flat, rectangular metal foot. It is supplied in an Ivory appearance and presented with brushed brass metal detailing for the neck, central stem and finial.

The base is finished with a smooth, ceramic-like ivory surface that gives a solid, sculptural weight to the piece, balanced by an off-white linen shade that gently diffuses light. The metal components are finished in brushed gold/brass, providing a warm accent to the neutral palette.

Designed for localized ambient and task use, the linen shade softens the lamp output for reading or mood lighting while the rectangular form suits narrow surfaces such as consoles, side tables or desks. The central rod passes through the shade and is secured by a small finial, a practical detail that makes the shade straightforward to remove for maintenance.

This table lamp carries an IP20 rating and is for indoor use only. It comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty. Its construction and detailing make it a reliable choice for considered interiors where clarity of form and material balance are primary concerns.
