STORY

The Visual Comfort Miramar Table Lamp, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Miramar range, pairs a sculptural ceramic pedestal with a broad metal shade. Its proportions suit bedside, living-room and home-office surfaces where considered task and ambient light are required.

The lamp’s form is a deliberate contrast: a tall, tapered conical base with horizontal, tiered ridges beneath a wide, shallow conical shade. It is offered in Porous White Porcelain and Crystal Bronze Ceramic finishes to complement both contemporary and mid-century influenced interiors.

Construction uses a plaster/ceramic base with reactive ceramic glazes that will vary in colour and texture between pieces, and a smooth metal shade with a satin, gold-toned appearance. The lamp sits on a stable 22.9cm round base and weighs approximately 10 kg, reflecting a substantial, high-quality build.

Light is delivered via two E27 keyless sockets controlled by an in-line switch. The opaque metal shade directs illumination primarily downwards, creating a defined pool of light for reading or task work while also contributing ambient warmth to the room.
