STORY

The Visual Comfort Melange Wall Sconce, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Melange range, pairs a pill‑shaped alabaster shade with a refined metal band. The design is intended as a decorative interior wall light that provides a calm, ambient glow and works as a sculptural accent on vertical surfaces.

The sconce is shaped as a capsule form that sits flush to the wall, its carved alabaster body contrasted by a central metal band. The range is offered in Polished Nickel, Bronze, and Antique‑Burnished Brass, allowing the fitting to read either cool and contemporary or warm and tactile in situ.

The shade is carved from natural alabaster; the stone surface is smooth and matte with organic grey and tan veining against a creamy background. The metal band provides a subtle metallic sheen and serves as the structural anchor for the fixture, reflecting the range’s mix of natural material and precise metalwork.

This product is rated IP20 and is intended for interior use. The central metal band houses the mounting and electrical components, and the vertical, flush‑mount design is suited to hallways, bedrooms and living areas.
