STORY

The Visual Comfort Melange Chandelier, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is a multi-arm ceiling light that pairs organic alabaster discs with a considered metal framework for modern interiors. The range emphasises rounded forms and architectural balance, making this chandelier suited to living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and circulation spaces where a sculptural central light is required.

Formally the fitting uses a central vertical rod and an asymmetrical array of intersecting horizontal and vertical members to create a layered composition. The low-profile, disc-shaped diffusers are arranged at varying heights and intervals to soften minimalist or angular schemes. The chandelier is offered in Polished Nickel, Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass finishes.

Construction combines a metal frame with carved alabaster shades; alabaster is a natural stone and individual pieces will show unique veining and tone. The canopy is a 12.7cm round plate and the whole fixture is balanced with cylindrical metal accents that provide a clear visual rhythm across the design.

Light is delivered through dedicated, integrated LED sources concealed within the thin discs to produce a soft, indirect glow across walls and surfaces. The specification lists a 12W LED output providing approximately 1000lm, and the overall width is 113.6cm with a fixture height of 35.6cm and overall height 121.3cm.

This chandelier is IP20 and Class I rated for interior use; it weighs 8.6kg. Custom height options are available—please contact our sales team for bespoke installations or to confirm ceiling drop and mounting requirements. Note that alabaster variations in colour and texture are expected and part of the material’s character.
