STORY

The Visual Comfort Lomme Chandelier by Champalimaud is a multi-light pendant designed as an interior decorative centrepiece. The Lomme range pairs hand-blown clear glass shades shaped like falling water with a refined metal armature, creating an expressive yet restrained chandelier for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways.

Its form is deliberately sculptural: a rigid central stem branches into a horizontal armature with five staggered suspension rods. The hand-blown shades arrive in three organic 'water droplet' silhouettes, arranged at varying heights to produce a balanced, asymmetrical composition. The fitting is offered in Polished Nickel, Soft Brass and Gun Metal finishes.

Constructed from metal and mouth-blown glass, each shade is suspended by a thin vertical rod and accepts small lamps positioned at the base of each suspension rod. The combination of clear glass and a minimalist metal frame keeps the aesthetic airy while allowing the glass shapes to read as individual objects in the room.

Functionally the chandelier provides ambient illumination and sculptural presence rather than focused task light. It is rated IP20 for indoor use only. We recommend leaving approximately 30"–36" between the bottom of the fixture and the surface of a dining table, and choosing a fitting width at least 6" narrower than a rectangular table (or between 1/2 and 3/4 the diameter for round tables). A 2D paper template is available to check scale in your space.
