STORY

The Visual Comfort Lineham Table Lamp, designed by Aerin Lauder for the Lineham range, is a table lamp that combines natural alabaster with a textured linen shade and brushed brass metalwork. It is intended for indoor use on tables, desks and bedside surfaces where a calm, diffuse ambient light is required.

The design presents a minimalist architectural silhouette: a solid cylindrical alabaster pillar counterbalanced by a wide drum linen shade on a slim brass stem and circular base. The lamp is offered in Alabaster, Crystal and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass finishes, and available in Large and Small sizes to suit different scales and placements.

Construction is centred on a polished alabaster stone base notable for organic brown and beige veining, paired with an off-white textured linen shade and metal components finished in brushed brass. The flat metal base plate and stout stone form provide stable placement on flat surfaces.

Light is delivered as soft, diffused ambient illumination through the fabric shade, helping to reduce glare while creating a warm atmosphere. The lamp carries an IP20 rating, indicating it is designed for indoor environments rather than wet or outdoor zones.
