STORY

The Visual Comfort Library Picture Light, designed by Thomas O'Brien, is a classic picture light that brings considered accent lighting to artwork, framed photographs and library shelves. Its traditional library silhouette and aged finish reference historic reading-room fittings while remaining quietly contemporary.

The 22-inch semi-cylindrical shade directs light downwards to deliver even coverage across a broad area. The Library light is offered in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze, allowing selection to suit warm, traditional or muted schemes.

Constructed with a long, horizontal metal shade, the fitting mounts to a low-profile rectangular backplate via two short angled support arms. Small ball finials at the shade ends act as decorative pivot points and reinforce the fitting's crafted, traditional character.
