STORY

The Visual Comfort Liaison Wall Sconce, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is a decorative wall sconce from the Liaison range. It reinterprets the classic torch silhouette with clean, architectural lines and is intended for indoor ambient or accent lighting.

The fixture pairs a clear, fractured-glass cylindrical shade with a long, slender vertical rod and a circular backplate, giving a distinctive vertical emphasis. It is offered in Bronze and Antique Burnished Brass finishes.

Metalwork includes a framed shade with horizontal bands top and bottom, a short squared arm to the canopy and a small cylindrical finial detail. The glass has a prominent crackled texture that is a defining visual element.

Light is provided by a single, centrally located candelabra-style bulb visible through the translucent glass; the fractured surface creates a dynamic, non-uniform diffusion that softens the bulb while retaining a clear point of light. The design reads as ambient and accent lighting rather than task illumination.
