STORY

The Visual Comfort Langston Pendant, designed by Avroko, is a multi-light ceiling pendant that pairs thick fluted glass with metalwork to create a jewellery-like focal fitting for interiors. Its capsule-shaped, double-pointed shades and mid-century–modern cues make it suitable for atmospheric use in foyers, stairwells and above dining tables.

The Langston’s three glass cylinders are arranged at staggered heights around a central vertical support to create visual movement and layered light. The fixture is offered in Plated Brass and Plated Dark Bronze finishes to suit warm or darker schemes.

Constructed from metal and textured glass, the pendant is finished with a circular ceiling canopy and a rigid downrod. Each glass shade is secured by a metal band that integrates with the central stem, emphasising the piece’s considered joinery and form.

Light is emitted from within the fluted glass shades to produce a softened, prismatic glow that reduces glare and sculpts shadow and warmth in a room. The fitting has a high colour rendering (CRI 90), helping surfaces and materials appear more natural under its ambient illumination. The product is rated IP20 and is intended for internal use.

Installation is via the rigid vertical downrod and flat circular canopy; the pendant is designed for spaces with generous ceiling heights where its staggered profile can be appreciated. The Langston is supplied with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
