STORY

The Visual Comfort Langston Chandelier is a multi-tiered ceiling light from the Langston range, designed in collaboration with AvroKO for Visual Comfort. Its architectural silhouette pairs metal bands with oversized fluted glass prisms to create a decorative focal point suitable for indoor ambient lighting.

The design uses stacked rectangular metal bands that form tiered rings around the glass elements. The fitting is offered in Plated Brass and Dark Bronze finishes and the offset arrangement of the tiers establishes a three-dimensional, sculptural volume.

Construction combines a metal frame with numerous clear, vertically fluted glass prisms. The glass pieces feature a faceted, double-pointed profile and are gripped by minimalist metal belts, producing texture and light modulation across the surface.

Integrated light sources are housed within the horizontal bands, illuminating the glass prisms from their centre outwards. The fluted glass diffuses the output to produce ambient illumination and a balanced distribution of light; a CRI of 90 supports accurate colour rendering.

The chandelier is suspended from a cylindrical ceiling canopy by a rigid, multi-segment downrod in the matching finish. The downrod includes visible joints to allow height adjustment during installation. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor use; product data does not specify lamps or driver inclusion. A one-year manufacturer warranty applies.
