STORY

The Visual Comfort Katie Pendant is a pendant ceiling light from the Katie range, designed by Thomas O'Brien. This decorative fixture combines a large conical glass shade with a linked metal chain and circular ceiling canopy, intended for hardwired ceiling installation in indoor settings such as bedrooms.

The design pairs a minimalist geometric cone with industrial details for a transitional look. It is offered in Polished Nickel, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze, and can be specified with White, Clear or Seeded glass options to suit different schemes.

The shade is formed from clear, transparent glass in the pictured version and is secured at the neck with a small metal collar and pins. Metal components include a dark matte metal appearance on the photographed model; finish options are available as listed.

The open, downward-facing cone provides unobstructed task and accent light beneath the fitting while the transparent glass allows lateral ambient light to spread. A single bulb sits centrally and is visible through the glass, so the chosen lamp contributes to the overall atmosphere and aesthetic.
