STORY

The Visual Comfort Jax Pendant, designed by Ellen DeGeneres, is a decorative ceiling pendant that interprets a mid‑century starburst silhouette in a contemporary scale. Constructed from metal, the fixture uses multiple radiating arms and twelve light points to deliver ambient, multi‑directional illumination.

Its form features a central spherical hub with staggered arms in a three‑dimensional arrangement for dynamic presence beneath the ceiling. The Jax is offered in two finishes — Polished Nickel and Midnight Black — so you can choose a high‑contrast or a softer metallic accent to suit the scheme.

The pendant is metal‑built with cone‑tipped socket covers in a brushed gold/brass appearance and small frosted spherical bulbs at each arm end. The frosted lamps help to minimise glare and produce a soft, diffused ambience suitable for living rooms, dining areas and large hall spaces where a statement, ambient fitting is required.

A rigid vertical downrod links the central body to a circular ceiling canopy for suspended installation. The fitting has an IP20 rating and is therefore intended for interior, dry environments. For custom height options or project specifications, please contact our sales team.
