STORY

The Visual Comfort I-Beam Linear Pendant, designed by Mick De Giulio, is a purposeful architectural ceiling light that places a slim horizontal bar of illumination over dining tables and kitchen islands. The I-Beam range speaks to restrained geometry and a modern silhouette while remaining focused on practical task illumination.

The fixture is defined by a long, rectangular light housing suspended by two thin vertical rods from a matching rectangular canopy. It is offered in Nightshade Black and Plated Brass, each providing a unified, monochromatic look across canopy, rods and housing.

Constructed in metal, the pendant emphasises an ultra-slim profile and crisp, angular lines. The uniform finishes and precise joins reflect a considered, architectural approach to material and form.

The design uses an integrated LED light source (design cues indicate an integrated solution) with a high colour-rendering index (CRI 90), making it well suited to tasks and dining where colour clarity matters. Its linear orientation provides directed horizontal illumination to help define tables and islands without visual clutter.

The pendant carries an IP20 rating and is therefore intended for interior, dry-zone installation. The rectangular canopy conceals wiring and the dual-rod suspension helps ensure the bar mounts level; manufacturer information does not specify whether lamps or a remote driver are included, nor explicit dimming compatibility, so check the technical sheet for project installs.
