STORY

The Visual Comfort Henley Table Lamp, designed by Thomas O'Brien for Visual Comfort, is a task-focused table lamp with a vintage-industrial sensibility. Its compact footprint and considered proportions make it suitable for desks, side tables and console surfaces where precise, localised light is required.

The lamp is formed around a wide cylindrical metal drum shade with a textured glass element set into the top surface. A knurled metal ring beneath the shade and visible mechanical detailing create an engineered, tactile expression. The Henley is available in Antique Brass and Bronze finishes.

Construction is primarily metal with a warm, brushed/antique brass family appearance on relevant finishes and a circular, multi-tiered base for stability. The top glass lens is secured by a metal ring; flat-head screw details and exposed socket arms reflect the signature mechanical detailing of the range.

Light is delivered as a combination of ambient uplight through the textured top lens and directed task illumination beneath the drum shade, helping to balance atmosphere and functionality at a workspace or reading spot. As a portable table lamp, it is intended for placement on stable, flat surfaces.
