STORY

The Visual Comfort Halcyon Accent Table Lamp, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Halcyon range, pairs a faceted natural stone base with a tall, tapered linen shade. The piece is intended as an accent table lamp for residential settings including bedrooms, living rooms and home offices where considered, localised light is required.

Formally the lamp contrasts a polyhedral, geometric base with a slender vertical shade to create a distinctive silhouette. The Halcyon is offered in Quartz, Crystal and Alabaster appearances, with shade options in Antique Brass and Linen.

Construction uses a solid alabaster base that shows natural veining and subtle translucency; a dark-toned metal neck and matching finial secure the shade. The substantial base provides stability and a material-led presence on a table or console.

The tall, conical linen shade is designed to diffuse light and reduce glare, producing a soft ambient glow suitable for task or mood lighting close to seating and bedsides. The lamp uses a standard E27 keyless socket with a line switch for simple on/off control.

Practical details include a height of 63.5cm, overall width 20.3cm, a decorative base of 7.6cm, shade dimensions 14cm x 20.3cm x 31.1cm, a listed weight of 6.4kg, French wiring, IP20 and Class II insulation. Note that visible wiring may not appear in all images.
