STORY

The Visual Comfort Graydon Double Bath Light, designed by Thomas O'Brien, is a decorative wall-mounted vanity fitting that pairs clean cylindrical glass with an architectural metal hub. The double configuration projects light both upwards and downwards, making it particularly suited to illuminating mirrors and creating balanced facial illumination at the vanity.

The Graydon combines modern cylindrical shades with subtle industrial rivet detailing for a tall, slender profile. It is offered in three finishes — Polished Nickel, Antique Burnished Brass and Bronze — with the pictured fitting shown in a hand-rubbed antique brass tone.

Constructed around a central metal housing, each shade is an elongated frosted white glass cylinder that diffuses light evenly to reduce glare. The metal hub is detailed with horizontal bands and small circular studs which both secure the glass and add a considered, crafted accent.

The twin-shade layout provides a balanced task light for bathroom mirrors and vanity areas, with one lamp in each shade to maximise vertical spread. The fitting is ETL listed and rated IP20 for indoor use; LED bulbs can be specified as an option to deliver longer life and improved energy performance.

The Graydon requires two lamps (one per shade) supplied separately; LED bulb options are available at purchase. As an IP20 fitting it should be mounted where it is protected from direct water spray.
