STORY

The Visual Comfort Go Lightly Chandelier, designed by Barbara Barry for Visual Comfort, is a four‑light ceiling chandelier that blends modern geometry with soft textile shades. The piece is part of the Go Lightly range and is intended for interior ceiling illumination where a considered ambient light source is required.

The design uses a central vertical rod and a horizontal cross‑arm in square‑profile metal tubing that forms distinctive U‑shaped supports for the shades. The fixture is suspended from a circular ceiling canopy by a short chain linked to a fixed vertical stem. It is offered in appearance options Charcoal and Gilded, with shade options in Silk or Linen.

The chassis is metal with a matte black visual finish and a restrained, architectural silhouette. The product includes four cylindrical, slightly tapered drum shades in an off‑white or cream fabric which contrast with the frame to soften the composition.

The fabric shades diffuse light to reduce glare, making the chandelier suitable as a primary ambient light for living and dining spaces. Its four evenly arranged lights provide balanced ceiling illumination while the tiered structural arrangement adds visual depth without excessive height.

The chain‑link suspension allows small adjustments to hanging height and helps the fitting hang plumb; the unit installs from a circular ceiling canopy. This fixture is rated IP20 and is intended for dry, interior locations. A one‑year manufacturer warranty applies.
