STORY

The Visual Comfort Gaios Table Lamp by Aerin Lauder is an organic, design-led table lamp with a glazed ceramic (terra cotta) base and a large drum shade. It is intended to provide ambient illumination in bedrooms, living rooms and home offices while introducing tactile, crafted detail to a scheme.

The sculptural, rounded base tapers slightly at top and bottom to create a balanced profile beneath a wide cylindrical shade. The fixture is offered in Blue Lagoon and Pharaoh White finishes; the shade width closely matches the base for a calm, contemporary silhouette.

Hand-applied reactive glazes over ceramic give each Gaios base a unique, textured surface and subtle tonal variation. The lamp stands on a small integrated pedestal base and weighs approximately 10 kg, reflecting its solid construction.

Light is delivered through a large fabric drum shade that diffuses illumination evenly for soft ambient light. The lamp uses an E27 keyless socket with a line switch and a maximum rating of 100 W. It is Class II with an IP20 rating, intended for indoor, dry-zone use.
