Visual Comfort French Cuff Wall Sconce, designed by Barbara Barry, is a decorative wall light that pairs a tailored metal cuff motif with a tapered silk fabric shade. The piece is intended to provide soft ambient illumination while acting as an architectural accent in hallways, bedrooms and living areas.

The design references a French cuff and link, with a circular backplate, a vertical rectangular clasp and a suspended metal ring above the shade. The French Cuff is available in Polished Nickel, Bronze, Soft Silver and Soft Brass to suit both contemporary and traditional schemes.

The sconce combines a flat metal backplate and cuff-style ring with a white translucent, tapered drum fabric shade that gently diffuses light. The shade’s smooth, tonal trim and the metal’s antiqued highlights create a calm, tailored silhouette that reduces glare and delivers an even wash of light.

This fixture is wall-mounted and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use in dry zones. A 2D paper template is offered to help position the fitting accurately before installation; spacing guidance suggests about 8–10 feet between multiple sconces for a balanced distribution of light.
