STORY

The Visual Comfort Esculpa Decorative Wall Light, designed by Kelly Wearstler as part of the Esculpa range, is a sculptural metal wall light with an organic, asymmetrical oval form. It is intended for ambient or accent illumination, offering a quietly architectural presence on the wall.

The design centres on a deep, concave recess in the upper half that houses a concealed light source beneath a hooded edge, producing indirect light with reduced glare. The fitting is offered in Museum Brass and Museum Bronze finishes to suit warm, textural schemes.

Cast in metal with a heavily textured, hand-finished surface, the finish displays subtle pitting and a darker patina in the crevices with warmer highlights on elevated areas. The artisanal surface is deliberately tactile and responds to light and shadow.

The inner cavity reflects light to create a warm internal glow that highlights the metal's texture. The Esculpa wall light casts light downwards and inwards, making it suitable for ambient and accent uses such as marking circulation routes, steps or adding atmosphere to intimate spaces.

The fitting is designed for flush mounting and presents no visible external fixings. It carries an IP44 rating for splash protection. Please refer to the product page for lamp, driver and dimming compatibility. The product is supplied with a 1 year warranty.
