STORY

The Visual Comfort Ellery Table Lamp, designed by Kate Spade for the Ellery range, is a decorative indoor table lamp that pairs architectural form with a playful ribbon motif. Its proportions and finish make it suitable as an ambient bedside or living-room accent.

Formally the lamp combines a slender cylindrical metal stem with a stepped, square pedestal base and a tall rectangular hardback shade. The design is offered in Soft Brass with a cream shade or Polished Nickel with a cream shade, allowing the fitting to read either warm or cool within a scheme.

Construction is metal throughout, with a highly reflective polished metal option and a fine-weave off-white fabric shade that provides gentle diffusion. A sculpted ribbon bow with a ridged, gros-grain-like texture is fixed to the central stem as a tactile decorative detail; a small finial secures the shade to the internal harp.

Light is delivered via an internal E27 keyless socket with a line switch for simple on/off control, the rectangular shade reducing direct glare to create a soft ambient wash. Key dimensions are Height 57.8cm, Width 20.3cm, Base 12.7cm square; shade measures 17.8cm × 20.3cm × 21.6cm and the lamp weighs 3.6kg. The fitting is Class II with an IP20 rating for indoor use.

The lamp is supplied without an integral LED driver and is specified for use with a separate E27 lamp; bulbs are not listed as included. Its IP20 rating makes it unsuitable for wet zones or bathrooms. A 1 year manufacturer's warranty is shown in the product data.
