STORY

The Visual Comfort Dorchester Swing Arm Wall Light by Chapman & Myers is a decorative, adjustable wall light from Visual Comfort's Dorchester range, designed for considered indoor task and accent lighting.

Its double-jointed metal swing arm and tapered 'Empire' style shade combine traditional candle-sconce details with a practical, extendable arm. The fixture is offered in an Antique Burnished Brass appearance with shade options in Silk Crown and Black.

Constructed in metal, the fitting features a rectangular backplate with a light-coloured inset panel, a cream-coloured candle-style sleeve and decorative bobeche, plus a small brass finial atop the shade. A vertical cord cover runs from the backplate to conceal wiring.

The dark, opaque shade focuses light downward and reduces direct glare, making the Dorchester ideal for bedside reading or directed accent lighting. The articulated arm allows precise positioning to create balanced ambience and controlled shadow where needed.
