STORY

The Visual Comfort Divina Pendant, designed by Barbara Barry, is a sculptural ceiling-mounted pendant that pairs a stark geometric frame with a soft, stone-like diffuser. The piece reads as architectural and decorative, intended to provide diffused ambient illumination in residential or commercial interiors.

The fixture is formed from a long slim suspension rod linking a circular canopy to a large triangular metal frame that supports a wide, shallow saucer shade. It is offered in two appearances: Modern Iron and Soft Brass, allowing you to choose a finish that complements the scheme.

Construction is primarily metal with a matte finish on the outer frame. A central, tapered cylindrical diffuser of translucent, off-white material resembles alabaster or frosted glass and provides a soft visual centre against the darker metal backdrop.

The light source is housed within the central translucent element, which diffuses output to create a warm, low-glare ambience. The wide saucer acts as a visual weight and backdrop, emphasising the glowing diffuser and helping the fixture deliver balanced, atmospheric light across a space.

The pendant is hardwired into the ceiling through a matching circular canopy and suspends from a single vertical rod with an internal drop cord. It carries an IP22 rating for indoor use and includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty; consult the technical details for lamp and dimming compatibility before specification.
