STORY

The Visual Comfort Desmond Pendant by Chapman & Myers is an open double-oval lantern from the Desmond range. The sculptural pendant uses slender metal bands to form nested ovals and presents as a decorative focal point for entrance halls, great rooms and dining rooms.

The design is defined by a large vertical oval cage bisected by a single horizontal ring, with a smaller oval nested inside. The pendant is offered in Aged Iron and Gild finishes, allowing the same form to read either subtly industrial or softly gilded within a scheme.

Constructed in metal, the fixture is composed of thin curvilinear bands supported by a central vertical rod and decorative spherical joints. The lantern hangs from a matching circular ceiling canopy via a metal chain and loop assembly.
