Visual Comfort Darlana Small Pendant Lantern

The Visual Comfort Darlana Small Pendant Lantern is a small pendant light by Visual Comfort, designed by Chapman & Myers for the Darlana range. Its compact lantern form is intended for interior ceilings and is particularly suitable for bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms.

The design is a tapered, four-sided open-frame lantern constructed from slim metal rods, wider at the top and narrowing toward the base. The cage is deliberately glassless to maintain a lightweight architectural silhouette and allow light to radiate freely. The pendant is available in Aged Iron, Gilded Iron and Polished Nickel.

Built in metal with a considered finish, the lantern shows the quality of hand-applied decorative surfaces that characterise the range. A central stem supports four candelabra sleeves finished in a soft ivory tone, while the piece hangs from a round canopy by a metal chain for an understated, crafted presence.

Light is delivered by four internal E14 candelabra sockets (suitable for flame-shaped or decorative candelabra bulbs), arranged to point upward and produce a decorative ambient glow. The open cage avoids diffusion, offering clear shadow and form that suits transitional and contemporary interiors.

Technical notes: overall height 45.8cm and width 31.8cm, canopy 14cm round, chain length 6' (adjustable at installation). Socket configuration is 4 x E14 (max 60W each). IP20, Class I (earth required). Bulbs are not included. Warranty: 1 year.
