STORY

The Visual Comfort Darlana Chandelier is a single-ring chandelier from the Darlana range, designed by Chapman & Myers. Its open wagon-wheel silhouette is intended to deliver considered ambient illumination in living and dining rooms while making a clear architectural statement.

The design uses a horizontal circular ring supported by two angled metal rods that converge at a central hub, creating a peaked profile above the ring. The fitting is offered in Gilded Iron and Aged Iron and is available in Large and Medium sizes.

Constructed in metal, the chandelier features twelve cream candle-style sleeves with a subtle wax-drip texture set on circular base cups. It hangs from a decorative chain and a small round canopy; technical dimensions include a height of 78.7cm, a width of 101.6cm and a 15.2cm round canopy, with an overall weight of 5.4 kg.

Light is delivered via twelve E14 candelabra sockets (technical data lists 12 × 40W). The multiple lamp positions give multi-directional ambient light and a balanced interplay of light and shadow from the open frame. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor, dry locations.
