STORY

The Visual Comfort Cristol Large Triple Flush Mount by AERIN is a flush-mounted ceiling light designed for interior spaces. Created by designer Aerin Lauder, the Cristol blends sculptural mid-century forms with traditional materials to give rooms an organised, refined ambience.

Its trifurcated metal frame branches from a central hub to support three large spherical shades. The triple-globe cluster creates a balanced, wide-reaching light profile ideal for central placement in living rooms, dining areas or hallways. The fixture is offered in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel finishes.

Each globe is hand-blown glass with a strié, marbled effect; the semi-translucent surface softens glare while introducing visual texture. Metal details include conical caps over the shades, tapered support arms and a shallow circular canopy that sits flush to the ceiling, with a small decorative element at the central junction.

The Cristol houses three light sources, one within each globe, to provide diffused ambient illumination across a room. The strié glass scatters light to reduce harsh shadows and produce a warm, even atmosphere. This is a dry-location fitting with an IP20 rating.

Installation notes: the fixture mounts via its shallow circular canopy to a standard ceiling fixing. A 2D paper template is often available to check siting at full scale; check product details when ordering. The product carries a 1 year warranty.
