STORY

The Visual Comfort Covet Tall Box Bath Sconce, designed by Kelly Wearstler as part of the Covet range, is a decorative wall-mounted lighting piece that pairs a carved alabaster block with a sculptural metal cradle. The composition references clean, architectural lines while celebrating the natural qualities of stone.

The design presents a tall, slender rectangular form where the alabaster block sits within a solid metal base and thin prongs that cradle the stone. It is offered in three metal finishes: Antique Burnished Brass, Bronze and Polished Nickel.

Crafted around a single block of genuine alabaster, the body shows natural cloudy veining and variable translucency; each unit will therefore carry its own patterning. The metalwork provides a restrained, geometric counterpoint with a warm metallic tone in some finishes.

An internal light source illuminates the alabaster from the bottom and rear, producing soft, ambient diffusion that emphasises the stone's internal texture while reducing glare. The fixture is designed for flush mounting to a wall and for interior use.

Installation notes: the sconce has a flush-back design and is intended to be controlled from a separate wall switch (no visible controls on the fitting). The product carries an IP20 rating and a one-year manufacturer warranty; please confirm lamp or driver inclusion and dimming compatibility with the supplier at specification stage.
