STORY

The Visual Comfort Covet Bracketed Bath Light, designed by Kelly Wearstler, pairs a carved natural alabaster diffuser with a slim rectangular metal backplate to create an architectural bathroom wall light. Its vertical, geometric silhouette is intended for interior spaces and is particularly effective flanking a bathroom mirror.

The design features a central, translucent alabaster column held by solid, block-like metal brackets at the top and bottom. It is offered in Antique Burnished Brass, Bronze and Polished Nickel to suit a range of schemes.

The diffuser is natural alabaster, showing a milky off-white tone with subtle veining and variations in opacity that are inherent to the material. Metal components have a fine brushed texture and the bracketed ends secure the stone while leaving its sides exposed for a layered, tactile effect.

The light source is housed within the alabaster column so the stone glows to deliver soft, even illumination along its length. The fitting's vertical orientation and diffused output make it appropriate for ambient or mirror-side lighting where balanced, low-glare light is required.

The flat backplate allows for flush wall mounting. This product carries an IP22 rating and is supplied with a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Note that alabaster is a natural stone: colour and veining will vary between pieces.
