STORY

The Visual Comfort Collier Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant designed by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort. Part of the Collier range, this pendant reads as a vertical jewellery-like element and is intended for stairwells, foyers and other spaces with significant ceiling height.

The design uses a repeating bead motif: a vertical column of eight faceted crystal elements linked by discrete metal collars to form a continuous strand. The Collier Pendant is available in Natural Brass and Polished Nickel, in Medium and Small sizes, and in 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures.

Construction combines a metal canopy and hardware with hand-faceted solid crystals manufactured in the Czech Republic. The canopy is a flat circular metal plate with a small central stem, and the pendant terminates with a small rounded metal finial that completes the vertical sequence.

Intended primarily as a decorative and ambient feature, the Collier Pendant provides vertical illumination and a refined play of reflection and shadow through its faceted crystal elements. The fitting is specified with a high colour rendering index (CRI 90), which helps preserve material and finish colours in the space.
