STORY

The Visual Comfort Clemente Wall Light, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a wall-mounted bedside reading light and decorative sconce that pairs mid-century geometry with modern restraint. Its form is intended for bedrooms and also works well as accent lighting in hallways and libraries.

The design centres on an elongated conical shade, a circular wall plate and a slender, angled arm that gives the piece a poised silhouette. It is offered in Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass, White, Black and Brass to suit a range of interior schemes.

Construction is metal throughout: the arm and wall plate carry an antique brass finish with a subtle brushed texture while the shade has a matte black exterior and a light cream interior to aid reflection. These contrasts are a primary decorative detail of the design.

Light is directional and task-focused. Twin swivel joints at the arm and shade allow precise aiming for reading, and a small toggle switch in the base of the wall plate provides manual operation within easy reach from a seated position.
