STORY

The Visual Comfort Clemente Double Arm Library Sconce is an articulating decorative wall light designed by Aerin Lauder for Visual Comfort. Its asymmetrical conical shade and slender double‑jointed arm reference mid‑century proportions while providing directional light suited to hallways, kitchens and reading corners.

The form balances a slim vertical support and a two‑segment articulating arm with a single conical head. The fixture is shown with matte black and brushed brass accents; it is offered in Black and White appearance options to suit different schemes.

Constructed in metal, the Clemente features an off‑white shade interior to maximise light reflection. The round backplate measures 15.9cm, the fitting weighs 1.8kg and the overall width is 16.5cm; height and extension vary across the product range.

Light is delivered from a conventional E27 keyless socket, giving directional task or accent illumination. Height ranges from 50.8cm to 90.2cm and extension ranges from 33cm to 88.9cm, letting you position light for reading or to sculpt a wall with shadow and clarity. The fitting is rated IP20, Class I, for interior dry zones.

The sconce includes a manual toggle switch integrated into the lower portion of the circular backplate for local on/off control. The arm has three articulation points at the base, central hinge and shade attachment; adjustable joints use wing‑nut style keys to secure position. The backplate suggests a hardwired wall installation for a clean appearance.
