STORY

The Visual Comfort Clarkson Table Lamp, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a contemporary table lamp from the Clarkson range. Its tall, sculptural profile is intended for localised ambient or task lighting on a desk, side table or bedside surface.

The lamp's form centres on an hourglass double-cone shade joined by a horizontal metal band and supported on a slender stem that offsets at the top. The design balances clean, straight lines with a softly flared shade; finishes are available in Black and Brass and Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass.

Construction is metal throughout, with the stem, base ring and central collar finished in a warm brushed brass tone in some variants. The shade has a smooth, off‑white fabric-like surface that gives a neatly diffused light and a refined tactile feel.

Light is emitted through the open bottom of the lower cone with a smaller top aperture, producing a soft, downward-directed light suitable for reading and accent illumination. The lamp is intended for indoor use and carries an IP20 rating.
