STORY

The Visual Comfort Clara Wall Light, designed by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort, is a decorative interior sconce that pairs metal with a seeded glass globe. Its compact circular backplate and arched arm read as a considered accent, suitable for hallways, bathrooms and living spaces where ambient or feature light is required.

The design balances a geometric globe with a gooseneck-style arm and a hardware-led bracket. The Clara is offered in Chrome, Burnished Brass and Polished Nickel, allowing the fitting to sit within modern, transitional or more traditional palettes.

Constructed from metal with a fine brushed texture and a clear seeded glass globe, the piece shows artisanal cues in the visible glass bubbles and directional surface finish. The arm is rigid and arches outward and downward from the wall plate to support the globe.

The globe has an open aperture at the bottom to deliver direct downward light while the seeded glass surface softens and textures the beam, creating subtle shadow and ambience. The circular backplate is designed for flush mounting to conceal electrical connections, and the glass is secured by a metal bracket with two spherical thumb screws for straightforward access.
