The Visual Comfort Boxie Flush Ceiling Light, designed by Sean Lavin for the Boxie range, is a modern surface‑mounted fitting that combines a die‑cast metal base with a thick, hand‑polished pressed glass diffuser. The fixture is intended for indoor overhead lighting where a low profile and a calm, architectural presence are required.

Formally, Boxie emphasises a crisp square silhouette with sharp lines and a stepped metal base that anchors the cube‑like glass shade. It is offered in Natural Brass and Satin Nickel finishes to suit contemporary schemes.

Construction pairs a substantial die‑cast metal mounting with a thick‑walled pressed glass body; the glass has a white translucent interior and polished exterior edges that give visual depth and even light distribution. The design cues are deliberately minimal to let material quality define the aesthetic.

Light is delivered evenly through the white interior of the diffuser, producing soft ambient illumination suitable for general overhead lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or offices.
