STORY

The Visual Comfort Bonnington Wall Sconce, designed by Aerin Lauder for the Bonnington range, is a decorative indoor wall light that uses elongated, hand-cut crystal prisms to refract and diffuse light for accent and ambient applications.

Its vertically oriented rectangular form comprises three columns of clear, faceted prisms set around a central chassis. A horizontal metal band with exposed screw-head details secures the arrangement, pairing mid-century crystal geometry with an industrial metal detail. The Bonnington is offered in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel finishes and in Tall and Short sizes.

Constructed from metal and glass, the elongated prisms are individually mounted to a central metal chassis and complemented by warm-finished internal hardware in the Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass option. The combination of solid metalwork and thick faceted glass gives the fitting a tactile, enduring presence on elevation.

A single internal light source sits behind the prisms and is partially visible through the translucent elements; the faceted crystals create a sparkling, multi-directional effect that lifts an interior without harsh glare. This makes the Bonnington well suited to hallways, dining rooms and other smaller to medium spaces where considered accent lighting is required.

The fitting is intended for hardwired wall installation and carries an IP20 rating, so it is for indoor, dry locations only.
