STORY

The Visual Comfort Biscayne Chandelier, designed by Chapman & Myers for the Biscayne range, is a large-scale ceiling chandelier intended for indoor ambient illumination in residential or commercial interiors. Its open, diamond-shaped silhouette and multi-arm geometry create a visually light overhead presence while delivering broad, even light.

The design pairs a burnished metal frame with organic wrapping for a hybrid formal-casual aesthetic. It is offered in Antique-Burnished Brass and Polished Nickel and is suspended from a circular canopy by a matching link chain that allows height adjustment at installation.

Construction combines a metal primary structure with the chandelier's curved arms tightly wrapped in natural rattan, and each of the six light sources is topped with a white linen tapered shade. These materials create a layered, textured finish that balances metallic warmth and coastal tactility.

Each of the six lamps is mounted on short vertical stems and fitted with a linen shade that diffuses light to reduce glare and provide a soft ambient glow. The fixture is specified as a hardwired ceiling installation suited to general overhead lighting rather than task lighting.

Installation notes: the chandelier is supplied for hardwired mounting and hangs from an adjustable link chain and circular canopy. The product carries an IP20 rating for interior use; lamps are not included. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
