STORY

The Visual Comfort Avery 20" Sconce is a decorative wall light from the Avery range, designed by Julie Neill for Visual Comfort. Its botanical silhouette and plaster-white finish give the piece a sculptural, artisanal presence suited to considered interiors.

The design pairs a slim, vertical metal stem with stylised leaf motifs and a tapered linen shade to balance ornament and restraint. It is offered in Antique Gold Leaf and Plaster White finishes to suit a range of schemes.

Constructed in metal with a textured plaster-white coating, the fixture includes a circular wall backplate and a small dish supporting the lamp neck. The visible linen shade has a fine weave that complements the handcrafted appearance of the body.

Light is delivered from a single lamp concealed beneath the linen shade; the fabric diffuser softens illumination for ambient, wall-layer lighting. The sconce’s elongated, approximately 20" height creates a strong vertical accent while keeping glare controlled behind the shade.
