STORY

The Visual Comfort Asalea 3-Light Wall Light, designed by Aerin Lauder for Visual Comfort, pairs a minimalist linear metal bar with three fluted glass shades to form a considered decorative and bathroom luminaire. The fixture's transitional language and metal construction are evident in its profile and material choices.

The design features a central circular mounting plate and a wide horizontal bar that supports three downward-facing, bell-shaped fluted glass shades. It is offered in two finishes — Polished Nickel and Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass — to suit contemporary or warmer schemes.

Constructed predominantly from metal with clear, vertically ribbed glass shades and matching cylindrical socket covers, the Asalea communicates fine detailing and tactile contrast between metal and glass. The ribbed glass creates a subtle textured effect when lit.

The downward orientation and triple-socket layout deliver direct task and accent light, making the fitting particularly suitable as a vanity light above a basin or to illuminate a long hallway or mirror. The visible internal sockets accommodate standard or decorative bulbs.

As a hardwired wall-mounted luminaire the Asalea includes a central canopy for secure fixing and carries an IP22 rating for bathroom use where this level of protection is appropriate.
