Visual Comfort Arabelle Pendant

The Visual Comfort Arabelle Pendant, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a ceiling-mounted hanging shade defined by tiered, scalloped panels that form a stylised floral silhouette. The pendant is conceived as a decorative source of ambient overhead light, bringing Art Deco-inspired glamour to dining rooms, hallways and living areas.

The Arabelle's layered, curved panels create a three-dimensional architectural form that reads sculptural both day and night. The coordinating scalloped ceiling canopy continues the motif at the ceiling and the suspension uses a metal chain, allowing the hanging height to be adjusted during installation. The range is available in Burnished Silver Leaf and Gilded finishes.

Constructed from metal, the shade is finished in a textured silver-leaf that gives a slightly weathered, hand-applied appearance and subtle warm undertones. A small cylindrical finial sits centrally beneath the shade, adding a considered decorative detail and finishing the composition.

Light escapes from the top and bottom of the tiered shade and through the gaps between overlapping panels, while a white or frosted diffuser plate at the base softens the output. The result is balanced ambient light with reduced glare and a gentle, warm atmosphere suitable for general illumination.

The fitting carries an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor, dry locations. The chain suspension permits drop adjustment on site. The product warranty period is 1 years.
