STORY

The Visual Comfort Antigua Pendant, designed by Chapman & Myers, is a three‑tiered pendant ceiling light from the Antigua range. Its flared, pagoda‑like silhouette and layered skirted shade give it a considered presence suited to living rooms, dining areas and other dry interior spaces.

The design uses three stacked sections that increase in diameter from top to bottom, producing a sculptural profile. The linked chain suspension allows the hanging height to be adjusted to suit different ceiling heights and compositions.

The shade is formed from closely spaced, natural‑toned cord or rope strands wrapped around a hidden frame, paired with brushed metal hardware on the canopy, chain and frame accents. The combination of organic fibre and warm metal gives the fixture a transitional, coastal‑leaning character.

Light filters through the gaps between the cords, creating a textured, warm glow. A single central socket sits within the shade and is visible through the weave; this pendant is intended to provide ambient illumination rather than task lighting.

Installation notes: the pendant is supplied with a circular ceiling canopy and linked chain suspension; bulbs are not included. The fitting is classified IP20 and is intended for dry, internal locations only. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
