STORY

The Visual Comfort Alma Tray Table Floor Lamp, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Alma range, merges furniture and lighting into a single, considered floor lamp. Its combination of metalwork and natural stone gives a sculptural presence while providing directional light for seating areas.

The design pairs a slender vertical stem and a thin circular tray with a solid cylindrical marble column. The lamp is available in Antique-Burnished Brass and is composed of simple cylindrical and circular geometry for a modern, architectural look.

Materials are specified to a high visual standard: a hand-finished metal in antique-burnished brass sits against a white marble cylinder showing grey and tan veining. The substantial marble mass acts as a weighted base to stabilise the tall, offset form.

Light is delivered from a downward-pointing cylindrical metal head set on a right-angled arm, making the fitting suitable for task or directional illumination over a chair or sofa. The product is rated IP20 for interior use.
