STORY

The Visual Comfort Akova Grande Pendant is a ceiling pendant from the Akova range, designed by Sean Lavin. The 14 inch spherical form translates mid-century simplicity into a contemporary pendant that suspends to deliver soft, diffused ambient light.

Form is deliberate: a metal upper hemisphere sits above a smooth, translucent acrylic diffuser, joined by a thin brushed-gold accent band. The two-part silhouette and contrasting finishes create a balanced, architectural presence. The Akova Grande is offered in Aged Brass and Matt Black finishes.

Construction pairs a robust metal housing with a seamless acrylic lower hemisphere that acts as the diffuser. A slender black suspension cable enters the top centre of the housing, keeping the visual line minimal while supporting the fixture.
