The lamp uses dualfinished glass cylinders frosted on the lower half and clear on the upper half mounted on a brushed silver / satinnickel metal base.

Is the lamp suitable for bathroom or outdoor use?
No. The Lio has an IP20 rating and is intended for interior, dry zone use only; it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor locations.

How is the glass attached to the frame?
Each glass cylinder is secured to the metal frame with mechanical collars at the base of the shade for reliable mounting.

What kind of light does the lamp provide?
With two upright sources, the lamp provides localised ambient light; the frosted lower halves diffuse glare while the clear tops allow upward projection.
